Follow the Signs of Forrest

(A gentle 3 km footpath walk)

In 2019 the Forrest Resident Group, under the auspices of the Inner South Canberra Community Council (ISCCC), successfully bid for an ACT Heritage Grant for the restoration of ten heritage street signs.  The 2021 Heritage Festival provides an opportunity for people to see the beautifully restored signs and at the same time see and hear about the other heritage and significant buildings, streetscapes and plantings of Forrest.

The tour comprises about 3 km of gentle footpath walking over about 90 minutes in small groups and a with a resident guide.  Wheelchairs are possible if they are suitable for footpath journeys.
